CloudDev Clarity | Episode 6 - Our favorite Azure resources

In episode 6 of CloudDev Clarity, Julie and Andrew share some of their favorite & most frequently used Azure resources, including why and how they use them.

It’s been a few weeks since Julie and I published our first few episodes of our new show, CloudDev Clarity. I was shocked with the response we received when we publish that Wednesday… so much so, I hope we can live up to your expectations!

Well, we’re back with a new episode this week! This week, Julie and I talked about some of the Azure resources we use the most in our projects. We talked about or favorites, why we prefer some resources over others, and what we’re looking forward to getting our hands dirty with in the future.

We’d love to hear what you are using and maybe ideas for things to cover in future episodes!

Episode 6: Azure resource tour: what we use, why, and our favorites

Julie and I have a list of episode ideas we’re planning to record, but if there’s something that you’d like to hear us discuss, reach out and let us know! How can you do that?

Discord community

One of the things we covered this week was a couple of channels we set up to interact with you! These channels are hosted under the existing Voitanos Community on Discord . Once you’ve joined & verified you read the boilerplate terms & conditions, you’ll see channels where you can discuss upcoming episodes or make suggestions for new episodes!

In fact, if you want join in on the studio audience and listen to the live recording of the show, you can do that too. There’s a voice channel for episode-live-audio where we’ll go live and stream the audio live as we record it! While we’re focused on recording the episode to publish to YouTube, we’ll try to keep an eye on the text chat during the stream to see if you had feedback or comments during our discussion.

We’ve set up events so you can add it to your calendar and request to be notified when we’re about to start streaming. This way, you can listen into the next episode in it’s unedited form a week before we publish it on the channel!

Answering a few questions About the show

Julie and I got a handful of questions from multiple people when we published the first batch of episodes that I wanted to address quickly in this post.

Many of these things were covered in our first episode, but I think it’s worth repeating them here.

Episode frequency

Right now Julie and I are working off the plan of dropping an episode roughly once a month. In the future, maybe we’ll increase the frequency. But for now, we’re sticking with something we know we can deliver on.

Exclusively a YouTube show

This show is exclusively being published on YouTube. It’s not a podcast (audio-only) at this time; it’s only available on YouTube.

All episodes are in a dedicated playlist and you can use YouTube’s subscribe & notification features to get notified of new episodes.

We’re also posting new episodes to the 📰-news-updates Discord channel I mentioned above.
