SharePoint Framework (SPFx) extensions were added to enable developers to customize various user experience (UX) aspects of SharePoint modern pages. Previous versions of SharePoint supported similar customizations, but they were limited to the classic experience of SharePoint.

In this course, you’ll learn how to build all the supported SPFx extension types, such as:

Application Customizers: add JavaScript or HTML to all pages within a site or across an entire tenant.
List View Command Sets: add buttons to SharePoint list/library toolbars and the context menu of items.
Field Customizers: customize the rendering of a specific column/cell in the SharePoint list view with your own business logic.
List Form Customizers: create your own display/new/edit forms for SharePoint lists and libraries.
